(THIS IS A RATHER SLOW WORK IN PROGRESS! I'M SORRY!)

The Pure Bloods Series

This is where you will find anything and everything you could want to know about The Pure Bloods Series.

This novel series is an Urban Fantasy based on many different mythological lures and breaking the chains that make them predictable. I worked hard to try and make some of these myths more plausable and realistic, though, obviously it isn't entirly possible to make a fantasy story completely scientific. None the less, I hope you enjoy it.

Forever and Eternity
Book 1

Everlasting Eternity
Book 2

Rayne is an average high school girl. She gets good grades, has troublemakers for friends, and… a mystery filled past and ancestry. Rayne has heard stories of her ancestors and couldn’t believe them, no matter how much she wanted to, until a large new family of eight very strange people came to town. The Montés. Four of which transfer to Rayne’s small high school and two to her little brothers. Upon meeting her new peers, strange things begin to go down around Rayne and her brother, Oliver.

She has weird dreams of the towns’ new family and even more bizarre people, and starts seeing frightening visions, or are they simply hallucinations? Her brother is having dreams of the past, present, and supposed future, along with knowing everything that’s happened to Rayne, including the things she doesn’t remember. When an accident occurs, Rayne has more strange dreams and they are far less pleasant. The same night she returns home from the hospital, she is awakened and kidnaped, and the kidnapers’ leader isn’t happy with the towns’ newest family.

What did the Montés do that angered him? And why does he seem to follow Rayne? What will the new visitors do to get back at them? Or does he have a different interest he’d rather investigate? As Rayne’s feelings for the two Montés brothers grow, the changes she’s going through become even more painful and uncontrollable. And when her kidnapper comes to pay her a friendly visit, Rayne discovers more than she wanted too, and it won’t be the last time.

To Rayne’s complete and utter surprise, the Montés and the other band of newcomers are not the only things that start showing up that she didn’t think existed. When Brom, a “family friend”, swoops in and proves that there is more in her world than what Rayne could see, Rayne starts trying to “see” what she wasn’t able to before. But could it be too much for her to handle along with all the disturbing changes happening to her?

With everything that’s happened and what’s to come, Rayne begins asking herself if the tales could be true. And more importantly, what she has to do with them, or if the legends are leaving something important out. Will Rayne be able to handle the pressure placed on her, not only by the Montés boys and the leader of the invading band of kidnapers but by an entirely new world? Will she be able to tackle the problems that arise from the one thing she once wanted so badly to exist? Yet, the one thing she worries about most of all… Will she be able to cope with the truth about herself?

********SPOILERS*******

Months after Aison’s death Rayne is still searching for his killer, with no success. During her desperate search to bring peace to herself and the Alphaios she grows ever closer to their leader, Theron, whom, until recently, was trying to kill Rayne to get his revenge on the Montés boys. Even though his feeling for her seem true, Rayne can’t seem to bring herself to care for him that way, not when both Marcus and Syrus have chosen her as their mate as well. The distance between her and the Montés boys grows further with every passing day, thanks to their refusal to even talk to her. Ever since Rayne saved Syrus the night of the attack at her house, none of them will speak to her, which leads Rayne to think she might have killed him.

Alkippe and Zephyra, the two much more friendly girls from the Alphaios Clan, have become attached to Rayne’s hip, only leaving her home, and her classes, when she demands them to do so. Enyo has yet to show herself since she left to dig up whatever she could on Annalynn, the Shadow Demon Halfer that’s been pretending to be Rayne’s best friend.  Rayne’s Pure Blood Vampire sister, Lilith, hasn’t shown her face since the day they met, when she caused Rayne to lose Aison. Leandros, who was the one that saved Aison when he was still human, now holds a grudge against Rayne because she let Aison die, and Oliver, Rayne’s little brother,  is never home because of the Alphaios girls hanging around constantly.

When things finally seem that they’re turning around, a new family member that Rayne never knew existed shows up with news of an Immortal serial killer. Shortly after, more Immortals are found dead near The Glass’s barrier, and Larallif is weakened after the barrier between the Human World and the Immortals World is cracked. With the situation more dire than before, and both worlds in danger of a mystery murderer more powerful than anything they’ve ever seen, Rayne must visit the Tahvo, the five most powerful beings of the Immortals World, and the Law that rules it.

To stop the killer, Rayne will have to make a choice. Hope that whatever the monster wants isn’t worth the effort and it gives up, or go to the prison that holds the most ruthless, powerful, insanity-stricken serial killer ever to walk between the worlds and set him free. Only a Pure Blood can break the seal of his bindings, and none of Rayne’s family is stupid enough to do it. Is Rayne willing to set another monster even more frightening than the one that’s threatening the stability of both worlds free upon the helpless beings that inhabit them?

********SPOILERS*******

Theron KerberosTheron is the leader of the Alphaios, though he was not always at such a high standing. He was born in 1364 at a research facility in Antarctica. He turned at the age of 18 in a tragic mutilation while trying to save people, and shortly thereafter aquired his first form. At a staggering 6' 2" Theron stands tall in the face of adversity. His dark shaggy hair and tanned skin only make the scar of his eye stand out more. Not only that, but his body was obviously built for power and speed alike. Theron is the only know member of the Alphaios that is able to obtain forms outside of his original species(Aka- the bear). Instead he is restricted to numorous species within a certain environment. Though at one point Theron was a gentle being, as time progressed and terrible things happened to him, he quickly began to feel bitter towards everyone and everything except for his clan.

Tanis Kerberos- Tanis is the little sister of Theron. She was born in 1367, and turned at the age of 16 from circumstances that only she knows. Tanis' build strongly reflects her animal forms. Tall and thin and agile. Even though her brother leads them, she does not hold a high rank within the clan. Tanis has her own role in the clan, just as her brother is the leader, she is the executioner. Her many serpentine forms make her the best candidate for this position. She has an obvious distase for her brother, based from when Theron first turned. However, after her own turning, she eventually found her way back to him, but still holds a grudge. Tanis is highly disliked within the Alphaios because of her foul personality. Though her doting brother still loves and protects her, unless she breaks the laws of the clan.

Enyo KallistoEnyo is a complete mystery to everyone in her clan, except Alkippe, but even she only knows how old Enyo is. She is the second in command of the Alphaios. Even Enyo doesn't remember where she was born, however, Alkippe deciphered that she was born around 1337, making her the oldest in the clan. This also made her the most dangerous. Enyo turned when she was only 10, but her tiny stature and short, vibrant red hair should not be mistaken for innocence. She's the most feared member of the Alphaios. Her murderous tenacity brought an end to countless villages and cities, and not even Theron would stand against her if they came to blows. Her clan often wonders why she stays, but she has a secret that only one person knows, and that person does not belong to the Alphaios.

Aison DamonAison was born in 1434 in a desolate city in Mexico, he turned at 15 from a horrendus mauling that left a deep scar from his ear, down his neck and across his chest. He shouldn't have survived long enough to turn. That's when Leandros found and saved his life. He was like an older brother to Aison after that. He stands about 5' 6" with darky shaggy hair and a dark olive complexion. Aison has a very short temper, which more often then not, gets him punished by Enyo. He is an extremely loyal companion though. Because of his tortured past, this young hispanic boy has felt very little affection, and that seems to be all he really wants. Though he seems to only know how to push people away.

LeandrosLeandros was born in 1416 in Berlin, Germany and turned at the age of 16 via unknown circumstances. At 5' 10" tall, blond hair to his shoulders and a physical build meant for speed, Leandros is not to be mistaken for a meek German teenage boy.  He has an extreme hatred for humans and a foul attitude towards his clan mates. With loyalty help only for Theron and Enyo, Leandros is arrogant to everyone except Aison. After Leandros found Aison in New Mexico, mauled, just before he turned, Leandros nursed him back to health. The two traveled together untill they found Theron.

ZephyraZephyra is the Yang to Seara's Yin. She is the twin sister to Heli. She was born in 1488 in Canada, and changed at the age of 16 from unknown reasons. Zephyra is a slight girl that loves black make-up and punk style clothes, and wears a brown pixie cut hair style. She often wears a wiccan cross. Though at times Zephyra seems rather sweet, she has a harsh sarcastic undertone to most of what she says. However, she always seem to be very happy and mellow. She rarely communicates with anyone in her clan other than her brother, Alkippe or Enyo. Her and Heli have the firm beliefe that one should only bind with a single creature, and because of this they both only have one form.

AlkippeAlkippe is the shy one of the clan. She was born somewhere in Italy in 1621, where Enyo found her after she tunred at the tender age of 13. She has since been attatched to Enyo like a child to its mother. She resembles her forms in the sense that she has long legs and a thin body and arms. She's very tall for a 13 year old. Her hair reaches past her waist and is as black as a starless night. Often, she is seen in a tank and camo shorts. Alkippe is a silent prodigy and is capable of determining every clan members age and origin from the slightest of clues. She can find out just about anything about anyone, but the only two people that know about her abilities are Enyo and Zephyra. Though she has a hard time forming relationships with others, Alkippe is a very sweet girl that can't stand to see someone get hurt. Which makes the clan wonder why she joined them.

HeliLittle is really known about Heli. He is the twin brother of Zephyra and is actually quite tall for only having a 16 year olds body. He's always remarked as the tall, dark, and handsome quiet type, though his brown crew-cut tends to throw people off. He almost never speaks unless it's to his sister. Heli is very calm and collected and often tries to keep his sister out of trouble. Just as Zephyra, he was born in Canada and his cause of turning is unknown. He really just seems like an average teenager with no preferences to anything. His one defineing feature are the dogtags that he is always wearing. Could there be a darker secret to him?

********SPOILERS*******

Rayne Amber OshensRayne is the main character of the story. She is a 17 year old, smart, head strong girl that loves anything to do with mythology, especially vampires. She's protective of her friends and family, even though she torments her little brother Oliver on a daily basis. Rayne is of average height and somewhat on the thin side, and her hair, the color of honey and copper, is just past the middle of her back. She always thought the old tales of her family's history was interesting and always hoped it was true. That her ancestors maintained the connection between humans and immortals. It was the whole reason she loved mythology. However, there is a secret that only the women of the Oshens family know. A secret that changes Raynes life forever. But will it be for the better, or for the worse?

Allyna Dawn OshensAllyna is Rayne's mother, and extremely protective of her family. She is the opitomy of a doting mother, and a highly intelligent woman. She has a sixth sense when it comes to anything about her family, in an almost eerie way. With a stature only a little taller than Rayne's and hair the collor of a shined penny, she's nearly her daughter's twin. However, there is something that screams Caution whenever she is around. Rayne has caught her in lies before and when she begins to act especially strange towards Rayne herself, who could blame her for wondering what Allyna could be hiding this time?

Sunny Ray OshensSunny is Rayne's father. An archiologist by trade, he is brilliant and extraordinarilly strong. He has long ginger colored hair that he always wears in a long ponytail at the base of his neck. His strange taste in clothes only makes him look like a wrestler trying to dress like a businessman. Sunny is a very gentle handed man that is always very cheery, and nievely blind to the ongoing within his own home. Mostly, this is due to him never being home because of his work.

Oliver James OshensOliver is Rayne's little brother, who is only 12 years old. Unlike the rest of his family, he aquired black hair from his father's side of the gene pool. He is a kind hearted boy that couldn't hurt a fly and wouldn't want to even if he could. He's easily scared and very shy. Although, this is all before a new family shows up in town, and his gentle, frightened demeanor does a 180 degree flip. What could pausably cause such a drastic change?
